MFV TM Eyewear Categories

–  Used for any eyewear following the  Multi-Filters Vision TM  fundamentals

MFV-X-0:     Two filters at X% for ZOI and 0% for ZLI.

MFV-100-X :  Two filters at 100% for ZOI and X% for ZLI.

MFV-100-0:  Two filters at 100% for ZOI and 0% for ZLI.

MFV-100-X-0:   Three filters: 100% for ZOI, X% for ZNOI-1, 0% for ZLI-2.

MFV TM Fundamentals

MFV-1:  increase eye sensitivity by reducing light reaching the eyes

MFV-2:  use filters densities to control the brightness of different areas of the visual field.

Low-Vision additions

MFV-LV-1:  reduce the number of lens areas (and filters) to two;

MFV-LV-2:  use a large difference in density between the two filters: one light to clear, the other very dark to black.

MFV-LV-3:  keep the size of the light/clear filter covering the zone of interest not larger than the necessary.
